We are so lucky to have Professor Chugh coming to speak next week! “Dolly Chugh is an award-winning psychologist and associate professor of management and organizations at the Stern School of Business at New York University. She studies how and why most of us, however well-intended, are still prone to race and gender bias, as well as what she calls “bounded ethicality.”” (dollychugh.com)
Though based on a first-year read, this event is open to all honors students, and may redeem a free copy of the book! Please see recent emails from the honors program for more information. We hope to see you there!

We’re so close to entering a new year at Simmons and welcoming in a new Honors class! But first, we want to take a look back at the spectacular work of HON 190 students this spring semester. Every honors student takes 190 and spends the semester developing a speech on whatever topic they can dream of. A select few usually get to present their speeches at the Undergraduate Symposium in late April.... but this year, 25 amazing speeches were recorded and shared on the Simmons University YouTube channel. The link is in our bio, and we hope you find something to watch or something that inspires you in your own Honors journey! https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL9J_5cnIN2Z-jsd6l6nQTOVed28TVDdsK

A spotlight of Professor Diane Grossman, our program director!
Meet Professor Diane Grossman: Director of the Honors Program | Simmons University
We spoke with Diane Grossman about her role and her passion for philosophy. What is your academic background? I went to Vassar College, and then went to New York University, where I completed a PhD. Interestingly, Vassar went co-ed during my junior year!
