HEY, GSPA!

My name is Ria Chavan, and I'm apart of the MSA/MBA class of 2024! Born in Kansas, raised in Jersey, I am exploring Boston for the first time with my cat through food!! I graduated from Penn state in 2023 with a major in International Relations, and a minor in anthropology.

We are more than halfway through our internships and are so excited to show you all a day in our lives at the different firms!  I am currently interning at Deloitte in Audit & Assurance. Just as you got to explore EY with Mikayla last week, tomorrow I can't wait to take you along with me into the office!!

In just a few weeks, the class of 2023 will return to campus after spending the last three months at their internships 📊📈

An excellent day at our 5th Annual Graduate Accounting Immersion Day! Thanks to all of our students and alumni who took time out of their weekend to join us as we welcomed newly admitted and prospective students to campus!

For our final alumni-led workshop, Joe (class of 2020), Sami (class of 2019), and Chris (class of 2019) joined for an Alumni Internship Panel where students had the chance to ask everything from “what’s the best way to prioritize my work?” to “how do I know when it’s okay to leave for the day?”

We are so lucky to have alumni who are always willing to come back to campus to help guide the next class!

Yesterday the class of 2023 participated in their second alumni-led workshop. This time it was hosted by MSA/MBA’11 alumnus Stephen and focused on public speaking!
