We were starry-eyed 🤩 for the final week of Summer in the City, where Elementary friends explored all things outer space. With guest lessons from teachers at the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center, our astronomers built and launched rockets on the Mall, learned how a Mars rover moves, designed telescopes, and gained exciting knowledge about the International Space Station. For their final trip, they explored the Lunar Module and the robotics installations at the MOS. 🛰👩‍🚀☄ Thanks for having us, Museum of Science, Boston!

Summer is the perfect time for joyful, MESSY, hands-on play! 🎨🫗 From salt paintings and lava lamps to slime and bubble stations, Kingsley's summer students are combining science and art in the Kingsley Lab, the Courtyard, and all over the city. Sensory play—where children explore a variety of materials and textures—supports motor coordination, extended focus, creativity, and so much more. Way to go, Kingsley explorers!
