As a trauma survivor, Masoud Owji learned about the mission of The Gillian Reny Stepping Strong Center for Trauma Innovation and connected with the transformative impact of our work in a deeply personal way.

He ran the 2026 Boston Marathon in support of the Stepping Strong Center, raising funds to move the needle in trauma innovation across prevention, treatment, and recovery for patients and communities.

Whether you’re a survivor, a supporter, or a runner who wants your miles to mean more, there’s a place for you on Team Stepping Strong. The Boston Marathon is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and as a 100% philanthropically supported center, we rely on the dedication of our runners.
