Our goal is to empower students to use their curiosity and creativity to define and tackle novel biological questions.

Living systems are dynamic and complex, and one cannot predict how they behave by simply studying the individual parts. We use quantitative measurement and mathematical and computational modeling to answer important and exciting questions in biology and medicine.
