500-hour (x2) Certified Yoga Teacher, Registered Nurse, knowledge seeker #lifeisart Yoga inspires me to learn and study both experientially and formally.

My yoga practice began as a form of physical exercise and has since developed into a form of self-expression. I completed my first 200-hour yoga teacher training through South Boston Yoga in 2011, and continued to study for an additional 300-hour bodywork training with David Vendetti. In 2014, I completed The Art of Teaching, a fifteen month, 500-hour teacher training course led by Barbara Benagh.

The shirt I'm wearing has sensors in it which measure breath consistency and capacity; improving diaphragmatic fitness and overall awareness

When working toward bakasana (crow pose) first think moving horizontally and then vertically. The feet will lift with more ease and the core will have to be utilized!
The block is a helpful tool to understand the lateral shift; but

Be careful with that jumpback!
