Pleasure Pie

Pleasure Pie Pleasure Pie is a small s*x-positive organization based on Boston, MA, USA. We make zines about s*xual empowerment, consent, overcoming s*xual shame, and more.

Pleasure Pie is a s*x positive organization run by Nicole Mazzeo. Pleasure Pie focuses on creating publications and experiences that help to end s*xual shame and prevent s*xual violence. Pleasure Pie's work consists of:
- Creating innovative s*xuality educational materials, including zines (booklets), illustrations, and other publications.
- Organizing events, including workshops, s*x positive o

pen mic nights, and safe(r) space parties.
- Leading S*x Positive Boston, a local group that meets regularly to have thoughtful discussions on s*x positive topics and network with others who are passionate about s*x positivity, body positivity, and feminism.
- Writing and distributing (by email) Boston's S*x Positive Newsletter, which connects people to the s*x positive happenings in the area.

In case you missed it: there is still room to register for this year's S*xual Liberation for Qu**rs course! It's an interactive 8 week course to explore the meaning of s*xual liberation.

It was amazing to see last year's participants look inward and apply the concepts of s*xual liberation to their own lives. Learn more and sign up: pleasurepie.org/q***rs2026.

Join us for an interactive 8 week class to explore the meaning of s*xual liberation, both on a personal and societal level. You'll be guided in challenging internalized shame and homophobia, and celebrating the incredible diversity of s*xuality. And we'll explore how you can be active (and effective!) as q***r folks in the movement for s*xual justice. Centering consent and justice, this will be a trauma informed space of growth.

Spots are limited. Sign up early at www.pleasurepie.org/q***rs2026.html.

It can be hard to talk about wanting sober s*x, because our culture is super judgey about both s*x AND alcohol. But as this zine says, “Talking: it may be awkward, but the reward is the chance to get what you want!” (This is true about asking for sober s*x and also lots of other things about relationships.)

This guide to negotiating alcohol- and drug-free s*x was made by someone in a recent Q***r Zine-Making Workshop. Bring a q***r-affirming workshop to your community group at pleasurepie.org/workshops!

You can have boundaries about s*x and still be s*x positive. You can be totally disinterested in s*x and still be s*x positive.

S*x positivity is not “being really open about s*x.” It's about rejecting purity culture, slt shaming, heteronormativity, and other forms of s*xual oppression.

Some s*x positive people are pans*xual s***s who want to hear all about your s*xcapades …and some want nothing to do with s*x (and still want everyone to have s*xual freedom).

S*x positivity is about getting to choose how you want to relate to s*x (without shame or pressure).

New zine alert! This zine teaches about consent in a way that works for people’s real life experiences. It is written from the perspective that most people don’t want to harm others, rather than trying to shame people into following narrow guidelines for what consent is “supposed” to look or sound like. You can find this little zine in our Etsy shop: https://pleasurepie.etsy.com/listing/4516092087.

This little zine is half rant, half education. The tired idea that a big p***s equals more pleasure is offputting in so many ways. Caring about what actually turns your partners on, talking about how things actually feel, and letting go of shame and insecurity about your s*xuality all lead to better s*x than this ~one size fits all~ myth that bigger = better.

This new zine is now available in our Etsy store: pleasurepie.etsy.com/listing/4516095103.

We all have the right to know about how our bodies work (in spite of what a small but influential set of lobbyists and bigwigs want for s*x ed)! When they erase certain information from s*x ed, the people who need that information don’t stop existing in real life. Everyone deserves shame-free info about safer s*x, LGBTQIA+ experiences, pleasure, and everything that makes up the weird and wonderful reality of having a body and having relationships.

P.S. did you know that the most effective message against anti s*x-ed talking points is basically "all students deserve to see themselves represented and just because you take the info about them out of the curriculum doesn't make those people stop existing. It actually hurts everyone when you silence students”? Educate US shares some very cool research about this!

Happy Pride Month to q***r people everywhere from Boston to Palestine! In case you missed it, this year’s Boston Pride “for the People” was branded “Pride as Protest Since 1776.” We have several questions, including……what???

Over the past few years, q***r community members and organizations, including us, shared concerns about Boston Pride’s partnership with the Israeli consulate, Zionist organizations, and cops at Pride. Pride for the People responded with hostility. Buuut Pride as a protest since 1776, right? 🇺🇸

Here’s to a month full of q***r exuberance and joy, protest, and the hope of a free Palestine in our lifetimes ♥️🖤🤍💚

P.S. You can get free, printable copies of this zine in English, Chinese, Korean, and Spanish on our website at www.pleasurepie.org/articles/free-zines-about-palestine.

New cover reveal! You can now get the S*x Week Boston guide to finding s*x-positive community and resources in the Boston area. This year’s cover nods to local s** work history :) Did you know that Boston used to have a red light district called the Combat Zone, right next to Chinatown? The neon sign shaped like a woman’s legs comes from a long-gone club there.

You can get this zine in our Etsy store at pleasurepie.etsy.com/listing/4303095847.
