It has been a busy summer for New Bedford Paras! We sent 3 delegates to the AFT Convention in Washington DC.
Thank you to the delegates and their families for sacrificing 5 days of their summer, so that the membership is represented at the National level.

On Saturday evening, The New Bedford Federation of Paraprofessionals celebrated this year's retirees. We would like to thank all of those in attendance, and especially the Retirement Committee members for their work.
Congratulations to Pamela Moinheiro, 41 years of service; Nicole Lauzon, 31 years; Kathryn Rebello, 20 years; Karen Costa, 27 years and Susan Dawson, 22 years of service. Your dedication to the students of the New Bedford Public Schools is evident in the warmth and kindness felt through the family and friends who joined us in celebrating your accomplishments!
