POV: You send your child to camp for “a little fun," and they come back with 47 new stories, 12 inside jokes, a questionable amount of friendship bracelets, and zero desire to go home. 😄☀️

Our campers have been busy exploring, creating, laughing, making new friends, and proving that the best summer memories usually happen when kids are simply allowed to be kids.

From adventures and activities to unforgettable camp moments, every day at Gan Israel Shaloh House is packed with fun, friendship, and a little bit of summer magic!

Missed the first weeks? No worries — there’s still time to join the fun!

📅 Register for the remaining camp sessions at https://www.cgiboston.com/
Don’t let your child hear “summer camp stories” from everyone else… let them be part of the story!

Another week of camp = another week of making memories! ☀️

From crafts and games to sports, smiles, and enough energy to power the whole neighborhood, our campers have been keeping us on our toes (and somehow still asking, “What are we doing next?”).

Take a look through this week’s highlights—we bet you’ll spot a few happy faces!

There’s still time to join the fun! Registration is open for the remaining weeks of camp at

Some schools measure success by square footage.

We prefer report cards. 😉

The 2025–2026 school year has officially become the most successful in Shaloh House history.

✨ Record enrollment — the highest in our school's history.

🎓 100% acceptance to Boston Latin School — every single applicant got in (3 out of 3).

🦘 Three students (Grades 2, 4, and 6) ranked among the Top 20 in the U.S. in Math Kangaroo.

🥇 Three sixth graders earned Gold Medals at the International Math Olympiad, placing them in the top 2% of students worldwide.

✍️ And one of our students won 1st place in a nationwide essay competition, bringing a $25,000 award to Shaloh House.

Not bad for a school where everyone knows every child's name.

These achievements didn't happen because we teach to the test. They happened because curiosity is encouraged, questions are welcomed, hard work matters, and children are challenged to reach their full potential.

To our incredible students, dedicated teachers, supportive families, and everyone who makes Shaloh House what it is — thank you.

We're proud of what we've built together.

Happy 4th of July
from Shaloh House!

This year, Independence Day
lands right on Shabbat –
so our fireworks are mostly in the challah,
the zemirot, and the kids’ laughter.

We’re grateful to Hashem
for a country where we can
light Shabbat candles in freedom,
sing “Good Shabbos” and “God Bless America”
all on the same day.

May your Shabbat be peaceful,
your barbecue (before or after) delicious,
and your blessings as abundant
as the confetti on your dining room floor.

Wishing you a safe, joyful,
red‑white‑and‑blue day –
with a proud touch of blue‑and‑white, too.
