Paddles up for our volunteers! 🏓🎉 We gathered at SPIN Boston for our annual Volunteer Appreciation event, celebrating the incredible individuals who give their time and compassion to St. Francis House. The night featured spirited ping pong matches, light bites, arts & crafts, a photobooth, and remarks from staff highlighting the impact our volunteers make each day.

We also recognized several outstanding volunteers with special awards for their dedication and service to our guests. 💙

Last week, we proudly celebrated the completion of the 24-month, $29 million renovation of St. Francis House — a transformation designed to better support adults experiencing homelessness through trauma-informed spaces, integrated care, and pathways to stability.

We were honored to welcome Mayor Michelle Wu 吳弭, Senator Lydia Edwards, State Representative Aaron Michlewitz, Boston City Councilor Ed Flynn, Boston City Councilor At-Large Ruthzee Louijeune, community partners, and supporters for our Ribbon Cutting & Open House at 39 Boylston Street.

The redesigned facility reimagines our historic building to create a more welcoming, calming, and accessible environment for the nearly 500 people who rely on St. Francis House each day for meals, clothing, healthcare, housing support, recovery services, and community.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this milestone possible — and to the staff, guests, partners, and supporters who continue to bring the mission of St. Francis House to life every day.
