The following are some of the goals of our research

Treatment methods for naming, reading and writing deficits in aphasia
Bilingualism and Bilingual Aphasia Rehabilitation
Online experiments of lexical (word) access and semantic processing
Understanding the various factors that influence word and word meaning access
Using neuroimaging as a tool to identify changes in brain activation as a function of treatment

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Shalom Henderson for receiving a 2026 Sargent College Internal Grant!

Dr. Henderson is a postdoctoral fellow within the Center for Brain Recovery, and this award will support her research examining "Video-Implemented Script Training (VISTA) and Neural Predictors of Treatment Response in the Logopenic Variant of Primary Progressive Aphasia".

We ended off Giving Day yesterday with 34 donors and $2,991 raised for the BU Center for Brain Recovery!
