New England Law Boston Visiting Professor of Practice Francis C. Morrissey was recently appointed to serve on the Uniform Law Commission by Massachusetts Governor Maura T. Healey. He was sworn in by Jonathan Torcia, Senior Deputy Director of Boards and Commissions for the Office of the Governor. Professor Morrissey was grateful to his New England Law colleague and friend, Visiting Professor of Practice Gary Monserud, for his support throughout the process.

Denise J. Casper, Chief Judge, U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, will serve as the keynote speaker at New England Law Boston's 115th Commencement on May 15 at the Boch Center Wang Theater.

Throughout her career, her contributions to the bench and legal community exemplify a sustained commitment to professionalism, service, and the advancement of justice.
