We recently had an amazing time at Funk Fest! It was such a fun experience performing alongside an incredibly talented cast and sharing the stage with so many amazing artists.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support, and to EdWord, A Trike Called Funk, and the entire production team for making it all happen.

Special thanks to Amy, Jane, and Fernanda for capturing so many great photos and videos.

Happy 4th of July and Happy 250th, America πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ!

Today we celebrate our past and choose our future.

Let's strive for greatness, lead with love and self-awareness, stand for equality, and remember the greatness we seek already lives within us.

TOGETHER, let's rise. β€οΈπŸ€πŸ’™

One of the most meaningful birthday gifts I received this year came from my friend John and his wonderful family.

What made it so special wasn't just the bracelets themselves. It was what they represent.

Dance Where You Are.

Permission to Unleash.

Dance.

Rule the Room.

These aren't just words to me. They're values that have shaped my life, my teaching, and the community we're building together.

Dance Where You Are reminds me that everyone deserves a chance to move, express themselves, and discover what's possible, no matter where they're starting from.

Permission to Unleash reminds me to keep stepping into my own calling while encouraging others to do the same.

Dance reminds me of the incredible power movement has to help people express who they truly are..in a matter of seconds.

Rule the Room reminds me that presence isn't about being the loudest person in the room (although you can be). It's about showing up fully as yourself.

What means the most is that John saw these things without us ever really sitting down and having a deep conversation about them. Somehow, through many small moments, he recognized values that are deeply important to me.

That meant a lot.

Thank you, John. I appreciate you, my friend!

Thank you for all of the warm birthday wishes! I had a blast today!

I spent special classes with my students (birthday editions). Then some of my students put up a birthday sign, and brought me Union Square Donuts after hearing that the 2 main things I wanted for my birthday were Union Square Donuts! Wow.. my students move fast!

Then I spent the rest of the day with this beautiful woman! I loved my day!

Ps… look at those donuts! So good!

Who wants one?

Love you guys!
