It’s French Phrase Friday! 🐟
Today’s phrase is “comme un poisson dans l’eau.” Literally translating to “like a fish in water,” you can use it to describe being in your element. Coincidentally, it’s the inverse of the English phrase “a fish OUT of water” 😉

Today’s phrase is “ne pas être sorti de l’auberge,” which literally means “we’re not out of the inn yet,” and is used to say that you have problems or worries for which a solution has not yet been found. While “auberge” now has positive connotations, the phrase dates back to a time when it was a term for a jailhouse.
