Interested in learning about your child's brain development? Join our study at Boston University to help us better understand speech, language, and listening skills in children with and without autism.
We hope to contribute to the development of evidence-based practices to improve communication outcomes for children with ASD. This study involves:
2-3 in person behavioral visit at which children will complete engaging paper-pencil and computer activities that can tell us about communication development. Parents/caregivers will complete background questionnaires.
1 in-person brain imaging session using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), a safe, non-invasive method to study the brain.
Participants will receive a $50 Amazon gift card for each study visit completed. We also provide a brief summary of participation and a picture of your child’s brain to help guide your understanding of your child’s language development. We're happy to schedule visits for weekday evenings or weekends and we provide free on-site parking for all visits.
