New England Objectivist Society (NEOS)

Objectivism is the brainchild of the Russian-American novelist and philosopher Ayn Rand. Rand held that your life is your highest value, that the achievement of happiness is your highest moral purpose, and that reason is the only means to those ends. Objectivism is a moral and philosophical foundation for your ownership of and right to your life and the products of your mind. It is an all-encompassing philosophy which provides an objective foundation for metaphysical, epistemological, ethical, political, and aesthetic views, and helps you develop a rationally chosen code of values with your own life as its standard, and your own happiness as its ultimate aim.
