We wanted to extend a huge THANK YOU to all who came to our first ever Skate with the Beacons event! It was the perfect way to end the UMB Athletics Celebration of National Girls and Women in Sports Day!

UMass Boston Athletics Hosting Sports Clinic in Celebration of National Girls & Women in Sports Day - UMass Boston

Hi folks! For anyone coming into our Skate with the Beacons event tomorrow during National Girls and Women in Sports Day, here are the logistics below!

Waivers will be at Clark Athletic Center - we will have a table set up for this.

Getting Here: 100 Morrissey Blvd, Boston, MA

Parking: Lot D or the new Quad parking lots are the closest to the Clark Athletic Center entrance. These both are paid lots ($10-15).

Clark Athletic Center Entrance: Entrance to Clark Athletic Center is near home plate of softball field. (Our campus is undergoing construction so thank you for patience while some of our entrances are closed.)

Locker Rooms/Changing into Skates: We have areas for the girls to change at the completion of the game. They are welcomed to bring gear in and keep it with them until the skate. I will see if there is another solution for this in the meantime but likely easiest to stay with the players.
