📣 Budding journalists, it's time to spread the word! What is happening in your corner of the world?

This July, take part in our Journalism Competition for the chance to share your local news with the world and win cash prizes! In just 400-1000 words, write an article about something taking place within your own country, city, or town.

Perhaps you could discuss protests about a national issue, or report on the recent success of a local resident. However large or small the story, we want to be fully immersed in the news of your home. 🔎

The Challenges Facing Student Investigative Journalists Student investigative reporters face various obstacles, including low pay, legal threats, funding issues, and even the risk of physical harm.

📣 Calling all photojournalists between 8 and 18 years old. Kidizenship is asking you to submit a photo that shows what civic action means to you. This photo contest will be judged by an amazing and diverse photographers including College of Communication, Boston University alumnus and White House Photographer for President Barack Obama, Pete Souza.
