Black Media is a daylong symposium highlighting Black media professionals, the innovative work that they do, the stories they tell, and the challenges they still face in the journalism, PR, marketing, advertising, and film industries.
Speakers include: Kevin Merida, Los Angeles Times; Deborah D. Douglas, The Emancipator; Ibram X. Kendi, Boston University Center for Antiracist Research; Paula Williams Madison, formerly NBCUniversal; Wesley Lowery, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and author; and more!

The COM First Gen Student social is a week away! Being a first-generation student comes with blessings and challenges. Join COM DEI for its first Building COMmunity event where we celebrate our first-generation students and hold space to talk about their struggles. You will also have an opportunity to learn about BU's first-generation office, The Newbury Center, and meet COM's Terrier 1sts mentors.
