Schuyler Wijsen joined CPS through its partnership with Boston Ballet — and what started as a practical solution became something he describes as one of the most intellectually formative experiences of his life.

His capstone brought together law, linguistics, sociology, and feminist theory to examine political rhetoric and public health. That's not something any single major produces. That's interdisciplinary thinking at its best.

Congratulations, Schuyler — and congratulations to the whole Boston Ballet cohort! 🩰🎓 → https://cps.northeastern.edu/story/graduate-of-cps-schuyler-wijsen/

Meet Sonia Harney, one of our Spring '26 graduates! 🎉

Sonia earned her BS in Project Management while working, writing for the Northeastern Political Review, becoming the first-ever Network Connector for students in Toronto, and traveling across 48 states and 30 countries. She called her path "untraditional" — then decided to reframe it as "exciting and different." We think she got that exactly right.

We can't wait to see what she does next. Read her story → https://cps.northeastern.edu/story/graduate-of-cps-sonia-harney/

"Not every path to a degree is a straight line — but its the twists and turns that make the journey worthwhile. 💙

Benjamin came to CPS after the pandemic reshaped his life and priorities. He'd never finished college. Mental health challenges had gotten in the way. With encouragement from a friend and support from the CPS community, he did what he'd doubted was possible: he graduated with a BS in Psychology, Spring '26.

His advice? Ask for help. Trust yourself. Don't wait for people to ask what you're learning. Read more → https://cps.northeastern.edu/story/graduate-of-cps-benjamin-robert-graves/

Did you catch Episode 12 of Just Jared? 🎙️

If not — first, go listen. It's a real conversation about caregiving, wellness, and what it looks like when a community actually shows up for the people doing the hardest work.

And second: our guest Alex Drane from ARCHANGELS created this for the CPS community — a caregiving horoscope that gives you a Caregiver Intensity Score based on your zodiac sign. It's unscientific, completely resonant, and a little too accurate. 🌟

Krithika Murugesan watched her data engineering career face a shifting landscape and made a decision: don't get left behind, evolve. Her MPS in Applied Machine Intelligence from Northeastern CPS gave her the skills and the confidence to do exactly that. We love this story. 🎓💙

Ten years ago, Northeastern CPS and Year Up United started working toward a shared goal: making sure that the hard work young adults put into professional training actually counts toward a college degree.

This spring, 20 Year Up United alumni graduated from Northeastern — and their stories are worth reading. From IT to business to digital media, these are students who showed up, did the work twice over, and earned every bit of it. 🎓

We're so proud of every one of them. Learn about the partnership that made it possible → https://cps.northeastern.edu/news/from-opportunity-to-degree-how-northeastern-cps-and-year-up-are-closing-the-gap-together/

We love featuring the people who make CPS what it is — and Vrutika Anjirwala is exactly the kind of student we're so grateful to know. 💛

Vrutika came to Northeastern from India with 10 years of professional experience, and used her MS in Project Management to discover just how much she was capable of. She's also a Bharatanatyam dancer, a reader, and a volunteer who believes in giving back to the communities around her.

Her advice? "There is no perfect moment. There is only the courage to begin." We couldn't agree more. Read her story → https://bit.ly/4uY5TQ1

Sometimes the best partnerships start with one person saying yes.

Faculty member Ilka Kostka joined the inaugural Women in Higher Education Fellowship through Professors Without Borders. She found it so meaningful she came back the following year to help lead it. Then CPS's Mariah Silva joined — and arrived having already done her homework on the organization's financial filings. Soon six or seven CPS professors were involved. Then came the MOU.

It's a story about what happens when you bring education to people instead of asking them to come to it — and it's a story CPS is proud to be part of.

New episode of Just Jared is here — and this one hits close to home for a lot of us. 🎙️

Dean Jared Auclair sits down with three remarkable guests to talk about something the CPS community knows well: the weight of care. Whether you're raising kids, caring for a parent, or simply managing more than anyone sees — this conversation is for you.

Guests include Alex Drane, Co-Founder & CEO of ARCHANGELS (a national movement supporting caregivers), Shannon Alpert, Assistant Dean of Wellness and Belonging at CPS, and Erin Clair, Associate Dean of Bachelor's Completion and certified yoga and mindfulness instructor.

They talk about what caregiving really looks like, what belonging requires from institutions, and what it means to take care of yourself while taking care of everyone else.

Meet Ketsia Leroy — MPS in Learning Experience Design & Technology, Spring '26, and first-generation college student! 🎓

Ketsia is also a visual artist, and she found that her CPS program was a perfect meeting place for both sides of who she is: the educator and the creator. Oh, and she got engaged during fall quarter — making this already special chapter of her life even more memorable. 💍

We love seeing our students thrive in and out of the classroom. Congratulations, Ketsia! Read more → https://cps.northeastern.edu/story/graduate-of-cps-ketsia-leroy/
