Hello All:

The holiday season is here! And I'm happy to announce that with support from Stop&Shop, the Red Cross, and the Omega Psi Fraternity Inc, we supplied complete Thanksgiving meals for over 60 of our families!

As the gifting holidays (Christmas, Three Kings Day) draw near, the needs of our families continue to grow. We have secured donations for students in grades 3-5. We are still seeking support for students in grades 6-8.

Some kids in grades 6-8 have a wish list, but most kids will appreciate a gift card.

Wake Up Call: Teacher Appreciation Week Tuesday's Wake Up Call celebrates National Teacher Appreciation Week.

We are in the news!!!! Happy Teacher Appreciation Week to all our amazing staff!!!!!

Mass. students delivered lunch boxes by WCVB EyeOpener crew Some familiar faces were helping spread some smiles for National Teacher Appreciation Week.

Let's come together as a school community and raise a little money! We want to provide an incentive to our students to have perfect attendance on all of our MCAS testing dates.
Beginning this week, all Higginson-Lewis students in grades 3-8 are taking the English Language Arts (ELA) tests on Tuesday (4/2) and Wednesday (4/3) this week. We would like to hold a raffle and give away bicycles and helmets, by entering the names of all students with perfect attendance on testing days. Please help us raise money to purchase these prizes. Our students work so hard in school we want to celebrate their efforts!

I gave today toward this cause. Won't you join me and help us in making this opportunity to win a new bicycle and helmet possible for a few lucky students!
