Robert and Janice McNair Educational Foundation

We are so saddened to hear of Janice McNair's passing. She was a kind, loving, gentle person with a generous heart. She embraced Rutherford County and our community alongside her husband Robert and remained committed to improving the lives of our students until her death. We are grateful for Bob and Janice's vision for our Foundation and will continue to carry out their incredible legacy. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her children, Cary, Ruth, Cal and Melissa, and their families at this time.

Houston Texans Co-Founder and Senior Chair Janice S. McNair passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at the age of 89. She is survived by four children, 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
