The weather (rainy & wet) wasn’t ideal tonight, but our 7th grade Football Team got the 6-0 win over Haughton in the jamboree!!! We have some great athletes on our team, and we look forward to a great season!

Mrs. Weems’ Success Strategies class is working on dividing fractions while using graham crackers to help them understand. Learning, smiling, and snacking are favorites of these middle school students!

All spirit group performances have been cancelled for tonight.
Football games are STILL ON!!! CMS plays the second game of the jamboree (approx 6:30) vs Haughton @ Elm Grove (Old Parkway High School)

$5 admission for adults & students

CMS: The shooting league information that was sent out earlier is a district league whose deadline for participation is next week. We were asked to send out the league information. We are very sensitive in regard to the recent school shooting in Georgia and are keeping those victims and fellow students in our thoughts and prayers.

Student MUST:
be 12 years or older by Sept 1., have a state approved hunter safety card or firearm safety.
supply your own firearm and ammunition, be in Good Academic and Disciplinary standing.

Mrs. Ward’s 7th grade science class reviewed some science skills with hand-on learning….. properties of density and physical changes. Ask your student about it! The smiles tell us they enjoyed it!

Cheers for these 2 CMS students for going above and beyond during the first weeks of school! Teachers and administration recognized Ashlynn Payton (8th grade) and McKenna Brown (6th grade) for setting a shining example on campus! We are SO proud of their efforts!

When life hands you lemons 🍋 , you make lemonade…….Today during an unexpected power outage, our 6th graders got to eat lunch outside in the break area! 💙Our cafeteria totally ROCKED it today! 🧡 Our teachers and students are awesome!

Good news! Power has been restored to our campus. We would like to thank SWEPCO crews for the quick restoration and commend our students and staff for being troopers during this inconvenience.

Cope is currently experiencing a power outage. When we have an estimated time of restoration or the situation has been resolved, we will provide an update.
