Bossier City Nursery & Twin Lakes Summer Camp

Our Story

Bossier City Nursery and Twin Lakes Summer Camp have served the families in our area for over 60 years. The daycare and summer camp was founded by Mr. George “Big G” O’Neal Sr. and Mrs. Evelyn O’Neal. Today, the center is still family-owned and operated by Mrs. Shawn Leach, Mrs. Stormy Ryan, Mrs. Mary Weems, and Mr. George O’Neal Jr. We’re blessed with the BEST possible staff and teachers who strive to provide top-notch care for your children.

At Bossier City Nursery, we begin taking children at the age of 2, offer a pre-k program for our 3 and 4 year olds in preparation for 'big school', and provide before and after school care with homework help for our school age children. We pick up at most schools in the Bossier area, including: Apollo, Bellaire, Curtis, Kerr, Meadowview, Plantation Park, Platt, Princeton, TL Rodes, Stockwell, Sun City, and Waller.

At Twin Lakes Summer camp, we follow the Bossier Parish school calendar so every year our first day of camp is the day after the last day for Bossier Parish schools. In the same way, our last day of camp is the day before the first day of school for Bossier Parish schools. We are closed on Memorial Day and the 4th of July (if it falls on a week day). Enrolling for summer camp usually opens in mid-February.
