We’re thrilled to announce our upcoming trip to Japan in Summer 2028, and your student is invited! This life-changing experience will help students build confidence, independence, and global perspective. We are also going to London, Paris, and Normandy in June of 2027 and are still accepting travelers for a short period of time!

Eagles, this is the new parent note put in place by the district. The district will accept up to FIVE parent notes that will count up to FIVE excused absences for the school year. If your child is absent for reasons that not considered excused, please fill out THIS FORM and turn it into the student office within five school days. Please note-the official template is required. We have copies in the office and is on the Bossier Parish Schools website under Student and Parent Resources.

We are so excited to have our Game Day Fundraiser again this year! $15/pack gets your student a themed t-shirt, free admission into the game, and a free jeans day the day of the game! See the attached graphics for more details. Let's get ready for some Eagle football!

Thank you to all of our families who came out for Meet the Teacher Night! We were so impressed by the incredible turnout and the support you continue to show our school. We can't wait to welcome our Eagles back tomorrow!

Just a quick reminder for the first day of school:
📚 School doors open at 7:05 a.m.
🚗 Parents are not permitted on campus to walk their child to class.
👋 Students should exit the car line and head directly breakfast or to their 1st block classes. We will have plenty of staff members throughout the building to greet students, answer questions, and help everyone find their way.

We promise—we won't lose them! 😊

📚 EGMS Meet the Teacher Night – TONIGHT! 🦅

🕔 5:00–6:30 PM 📍 Elm Grove Middle School

This is a come-and-go event, so feel free to stop by anytime between 5:00 and 6:30 PM to meet teachers, explore classrooms, and get ready for a great school year!

A few reminders:

• Parents/guardians must remain with their students at all times. • Students who bring school supplies should leave ALL supplies in their 1st block class. • If a student has an elective during 1st period, supplies should be left in their 1st block B-Day class.

We are excited to welcome back our returning Eagle families and look forward to meeting all of our new students and families as well. We can’t wait to see everyone tonight and kick off an amazing year together!
