Ashton was caught showing leadership during recess! As his classmates were enjoying the pleasant temperatures outside during recess, Ashton decided to leave the playground better than he found it by picking up some trash that he saw on the playground.

We were so proud that we had to get him a free concession for his efforts. He also got to take a picture with 2 campus leaders. Deputy Plunkett and his former teacher from last school year, Mrs. Wallace, who was quick to mention that he did this last year!

When he was asked why he chose to do that during recess, Ashton said that "he loves the planet and doesn't want to see plants die from the trash".

Way to live out our school vision to "Achieve! Lead! and Leave our school better!"
