We welcomed some of our newest PCA Knights to our campus last night at our New Family Welcome event! We enjoyed getting to visit with so many of you and missed the families who were unable to attend. More exciting news coming from PCA soccer! Incoming Freshman Benson Carroll and his Cabosa teammates won the 2012B US Club National Cup Finals in Denver, Colorado. Awesome job, Benson! Your PCA soccer teammates are so proud of you! Go Knights! 💙💛

A huge congratulations is in order for PCA's own Ali Hamic and Gabi Hamic! Ali and Gabi, along with their Cabosa/Shreveport United teammates, were just named the US Youth Soccer U18/U19 Premier National Champions. ⚽ They played in the championship game in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, after winning their fourth Louisiana State Cup title. This is the first team ever in Louisiana to win Nationals. What an accomplishment for all of these young ladies! We are especially proud of Ali and Gabi, who always represent PCA so well! Go Knights! 💙💛

PCA's Kindergarten through 2nd Grade Teachers are preparing for the upcoming school year by training in Heggerty phonics! 📚 Heggerty skills and drills will help PCA's youngest Knights build phonemic awareness, a necessary precursor to building strong readers. Heggerty phonics is just one of the many tools PCA's teachers use to model the lifelong love of learning! Go Knights! 💙💛

PCA’s youngest tennis players have been busy and hot 🔥 this summer! Our middle school and incoming sixth grade students have played in the state tournaments in Baton Rouge, bringing home 3rd place and the sportsmanship awards. 🎾 Awesome job, students! Go Knights! 💙💛
