It was very fun seeing all the students dress alike yesterday!

Apollo is thrilled to have hosted Rick Kelley today! Mr. Kelley is from Michigan and annuallly travels to Louisiana each October in recognition of our state book festival. Entertaining K-2 and then 3-5 grades, Mr. Kelley shared the fun of reading, libraries, and movement. Our school is one of only two schools in Northern Louisiana at which he is performing.

Our teachers on the Student of the Year Committee finished scoring our candidates’ applications! We are very excited for our 8 students who are moving to the next level!

Mrs. Watts and I loved having lunch with some of our students. These students spent their Rad Rockets on lunch with the principals! We felt honored they wanted to hang out. We enjoyed the company!

We are very proud to announce our candidates for Student of the Year! These students have been selected based off of their academic achievements! We wish them good luck as they move onto the next round.

Last night our 4H officers attended an officer training and were sworn into office!

Our kindergarten students had a farm-tastic day as they dressed like farmers and farm animals today!

We have so many students who have leveled up in our K-2 reading program that I can’t fit them on one post! We are so proud of them!

Mrs. White’s zoologists were excited to survey their classmates to determine their favorite animal and then enjoyed reading with their reading buddy.

Apollo has some of the best educators in Bossier! So many teachers were at school Monday close to 5 to learn more ways to help our students grow in ELA!
