Todayβs Aspiring MiSTER meeting was all about purpose and power. π Grambling MiSTERs from the Call Me MISTER program poured into our young men, guiding them as they developed individualized empowerment plans for their futures. Brotherhood. Mentorship. Leadership in action.

Two of our future difference makers, Taylor Elledge (Parkway High) and Alyssa Myers (Haughton High) were selected by LDOE to serve on the Aspiring Educator Cohort with a select group of Pre-Educator students throughout the state. Throughout the year, they have been engaging in zoom meetings with LDOE, LSU, ULL, and community partners. Today was the first time the cohort got to meet in person for an awesome site visit with Lafayette Parish School System and ULLβs Educators Rising program. It was a phenomenal day, and we are proud of how they represented us! We capped the day off by visiting with 2024 Pre-Educator graduate and elementary education major, Natalie Williams, who we are so proud of!
