We have decided to cancel the field trip to Jubilee Zoo today due to the impending weather. We are working on rescheduling for a later date. The children will still be able to enjoy their lunches at lunchtime today.

Parent Reminder:
4-year-old parents, please drop your children off by 9:30 tomorrow, May 11th for the field trip to Party Central. Don’t forget to sign the permission slip on the class doors.

2 & 3-year- old promotion ceremonies are Thursday, May12th. 2-year -olds will be at 9:30am and 3-year-olds will be at 10:30am.

We want to inform you that we are watching the weather closely and have our weather radios on as well as news stations. We will continue to monitor the situation and take the necessary precautions as needed. The teachers have been advised and are prepared just in case we need to take cover.

We have exciting news to share with you🙂. The community has voted with Locals Love Us. This is something that the public/parents/families vote for. We were voted for and nominated #2 in Childcare and #2 in Preschool.

Parents: We are keeping a close watch on the weather developments. We have a weather alert radio that keeps us advised of watches and warnings and we are closely monitoring the news. We practice tornado drills regularly (we had one last week) so if necessary, the staff and teachers know what to do in the event of severe weather. 5:00 A.M. FRIDAY UPDATE: The Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office reports all roads are passable and in good condition. Interstates I-220, I-49 and the Benton Road Overpass remain closed as precautionary measures.

All Bossier schools will start at their normal times. Please drive slowly and carefully and allow extra time to get to school and work today. Our transportation department has mechanics stationed around the parish in the event some buses have trouble starting. In that event, there may be some slight busing delays.
