Mrs. Atwood may be retired but she couldn’t resist dropping by on the first Friday of the 2026-2027 school year to bring a treat for our staff! Thank you so much for loving on our faculty LeeAnn Atwood! Once a Kat, always a Kat!

We loved seeing so many of our Kerr Kats and their families as we kicked off an exciting new school year. It was a day filled with smiles, laughter, and fun, and we are so excited to welcome everyone back to Kerr!

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible volunteers and community sponsors for giving your time, talents, and support to make this event possible. Your generosity helped make today a huge success, and we are so grateful for your partnership.

Get ready for a back-to-school adventure. 🏴‍☠️

We have two important events coming up for our pirate crew:

1. MEET THE TEACHER (Kindergarten-5th Grade)
Come meet your teacher for the upcoming school year!

When: Sunday, August 2

Time: Doors open at 2:00 PM

⚠️ Important: To find out who your child's teacher is, ANNUAL REGISTRATION MUST HAVE BEEN COMPLETED!

2. MANDATORY PreK PARENT MEETING
This is a critical meeting for all PreK parents.

When: Wednesday, August 12, 2026, @ 9:00 AM

Where: Kerr Elementary Multi-Purpose Building

⚠️ Crucial Details:

PreK Students and Parents should NOT attend Meet the Teacher.

Please do NOT bring students to the PreK parent meeting.

Students need to be registered in OnCourse by this date.
