We are thrilled to welcome Derek Kephart to the Bulldog family! 🎉

Derek is joining Boscobel Elementary as a 3rd grade teacher this year! He attended Southwest Technical College and UW-Platteville and grew up in Fennimore, WI with his parents and one older sister.

In his free time, Derek enjoys hunting, fishing, and cooking. He's looking forward to getting to try new things every day and joining an amazing 3rd grade team!

The first football game is this Friday Night, August 21st, against the Hillsboro Tigers, with kickoff at 7:00 pm!

Show off your and join us early at the Boscobel Athletic Boosters' Tailgate Party at Kronshage Park from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm.

The theme of the game is Salute To Service, where we will honor our VFW, Legion, and Community First Responders. 🇺🇸

We are thrilled to welcome Makayna Lemanski to the Bulldog family! 🎉

Makayna is joining Boscobel Elementary as a special education teacher this year! She attended Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin, where she earned her Bachelor's in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood. She recently completed CESA 9's Teaching in Excellence Program to obtain her K-12 Cross Categorical Special Education licensure. Before coming to Boscobel, she spent two years at Belmont as the Early Childhood and Elementary Special Education teacher.

In her free time, Makayna enjoys spending time with family, listening to music, and being outside. She's looking forward to growing her own education while teaching young students, meeting new people, and making connections!

We are thrilled to welcome Jackie Barker to the Bulldog family! 🎉

Jackie is joining Boscobel Area Schools as our new District Office Administrative Assistant! She's no stranger to Boscobel, having grown up here, graduated from Boscobel High School, and raised her boys in the community. After several years on the coast of North Carolina, she and her husband recently moved back to the area, and it feels really good to be home!

Jackie graduated from both Southwest Tech and Upper Iowa University, and her career has covered everything from administrative support to marketing, and most recently graphic and web design. Outside of work, she loves spending time with family and friends, listening to live music, being creative, helping with community projects, and enjoying life back in the Driftless. Her kids are spread between Wisconsin, Minnesota, and North Carolina, so time together is always special. She's also a very proud grandma, and her newest grandbaby, Silas, arrived at the end of July!

Jackie is excited to be part of Boscobel Area Schools again, this time as a staff member. She knows how much the school means to this community and looks forward to being one of the friendly faces people see when they walk through the door.

We are thrilled to welcome Amanda Knutson to the Bulldog family! 🎉

Amanda is joining Boscobel Area Schools as a special education teacher this year! She attended Ripon College for her Bachelor's degree and Saint Mary's University of Minnesota for her Master's degree. She brings 12 years of experience working as a special education teacher for grades 1st through 11th.

Amanda is incredibly close to her family and loves watching her nephews play their respective sports and her niece play t-ball. She's very active in her community and spends much of her time volunteering at fundraising events or planning new ones. When she has some free time, she enjoys reading and playing board games or card games.
