https://www.nhgives.org/organization/avaloch-farm-music-institute Opened in Boscawen New Hampshire in August of 2013, the Avaloch Farm Music Institute provides a unique opportunity for professional chamber music ensembles to work on their repertoire, as well as a place for arts and educational organizations to hold conferences and workshops. The charming residential facility, comfortable, acoustically appropriate studios, pleasant dining area and Common Room, all enhanced by the beautiful, bucolic surroundings, make a residency at Avaloch Farm a fulfilling and treasured opportunity. Avaloch Farm seeks to make it possible for professional music ensembles and composers to have the time and space to work intensively on repertoire, new commissions, prepare for recordings, concerts or competitions, and forge or reconnect to a group musical identity. Informal concerts take place on site, and there is outreach to the surrounding community, as well as collaborations with other arts institutions in the area. In addition, we provide a setting for arts and educational organizations to meet to concentrate on their particular mission.
