A Special Guest for September & October!

Book a Full Wildlife Education Program for your classroom or group during September or October, and Knox, our Patagonian mara, can join the program at no additional charge!

Knox is one of our most unique animal ambassadors and gives students the chance to meet an animal they may have never even heard of before.

This special is available for single-classroom Wildlife Education Programs held indoors. It does not apply to assemblies or bookings with multiple programs/sessions.

Hi everyone! This is just a PSA that my home….where all of the animal ambassadors are located…is not open to the public. Please do not randomly come here expecting a tour or anything like that with your family.

I absolutely love sharing the ambassadors with everyone but for safety & security issues I don’t allow anyone access like this.

Happy World Lizard Day!

Did you know there are over 7,000 species of lizards around the world? From itty bitty tiny geckos to giant monitor lizards, they come in an incredible variety of shapes, sizes, colors, and adaptations.

Loki, our northern blue-tongue skink, is just one very cool example of how diverse lizards can be! šŸ¦Ž

Is Knox a deer? A kangaroo? šŸ¤”

Neither! Knox is a Patagonian mara, a large rodent native to South America. He’s actually more closely related to guinea pigs and capybaras!

Take a look at all three side-by-side. What differences do you notice?
