PROPOSED PROJECT: Increased Secure Entrances at David Barton Elementary and LSE Middle School

Among the Proposition 3 proposed projects is modifying current entrances (building vestibules) to allow no public access to student areas during the school day without additional in-person checks and permission from staff.

Election day is Tuesday, April 2, 2024.

At David Barton Elementary, the current (original) electrical systems offer two outlets per fourth and fifth-grade classroom, resulting in frequent breaker issues and outages.

Among the Proposition 3 proposed projects is remodeling spaces within David Barton Elementary's fourth and fifth-grade classrooms, hallways, and the main hallway. The proposed project includes updated electrical systems, student storage (lockers/cubbies), ceiling tiles, and lighting.
