Good morning CLASS OF 1987 - A committe was formed and we are trying to grab a quick headcount so we can get a venue reserved and make a plan.

WE are currently thinking about the hosting the main reunion dinner on Saturday evening at the new Kemper Alumni Museum on Main Street, a very nice facility.
Other plans in the works. Would be a trailer/float in Heritage Days Parade Saturday morning. Friday evening social. But we do need your feedback.
Also, we know not everyone hangs out on Facebook. So we will be posting a list of folks we need to locate. I will also be sending this email to many of you in a direct messege, because who knows how many are seeing this page. We will get an "event" created soon. SO only fill this out once please and by all means, send us your suggestions!

So, since we did not pull anything together 5 years ago, and I know a few of you may be more able to help ramrod this celebration do we want to consider the possibility of a gathering?

Lets see a show of hands! One hand if you would like to attend and TWO HANDS if you will help put it together.

Heritage Days is the weekend of June 25th!

I need to get back with the Association by this time next week with an answer.

It is with such sadness that we share this post and loss of our dear classmate. RIP old friend.

Allan W. Herigon, 51, of Columbia passed away Sunday, March 29, 2020 at his home in Columbia, Missouri.
Due to the state social gathering guidelines, private family service will be at Howard Funeral Home with Fr. Bill Peckman attending.
Allan W. Herigon was born January 7, 1969, the son of Robert P. Herigon and Janie Pattison Herigon. He graduated from Boonville High School in 1987. He then attended University of Missouri- Rolla. Allan was a big sports fan. He loved anything Mizzou, especially Tiger baseball. He enjoyed traveling all over the US along with his sister to see them play. Allan also loved the St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs. He was always our “go to” for anything techy. He knew how to solve any issue and there were many. Allan enjoyed riding his bike, the local breweries in Columbia and live music especially at the Blue Note.
Allan is survived by his mother, Janie Herigon of Boonville, Missouri; his father, Robert Herigon of Boonville, and his sister, Bonnie Herigon of Independence, Missouri.

I wanted to let everyone know that there was nothing planned for a 30th Class reunion. Only one person volunteered to help and I knew how limited my time would be this weekend. I apologize to those of you coming into town. I would like to offer up the idea of Homecoming in the fall Homecoming is the weekend of September 8th and 9th. If anyone is interested in putting something together we need to book a venue soon. Please spread the word and let me know your thoughts. Last year the Class of 1986 had a float in the parade, went to the ball game as a class, had activities Saturday morning and a class dinner that evening. Give me some feedback and I will get that ball rolling. You can truly relive your youth attending a football game and touring the high school. I hope to see some of you this weekend. Have a great time and drive safe.

Good evening everyone! I received a phone call from Kay Earls this evening. She is in charge the the BHS alumni association and they need to know what the Class of 1987 has planned for their 30th reunion. I told her I would try to get some feedback from everyone this week to see who would be willing help out and what everyone wanted to do if anything. If you could please take the time to comment on this thread I would appreciate it, that way all classmates can be involved. Thanks so much!!

I will be posting photos from the reunion and trying to get everyone I can think of added over the next week or two. I am in the process of creating a page for our class. I am going to make it a private page by invite only. I wanted to let everyone know how truly greatful I am for all those who attended and those who silently contributed and wanted to be there. We ended up with a grand total of $38.73 remaining in our account. I would like to see this page utitlized by all who have something they would like to share with their classmates. Kind of a keep us posted page. I am also going to attemp to get a full email listing for our class. So many do not use facebook and I do not want to see anyone left out.
