💙💛 A Powerful Message of Respect & Inclusion at JHS! 💛💙

As part of our Week of Respect, John Hill School had the incredible opportunity to welcome motivational speaker David Flood, who shared his inspiring message of respect, kindness, empathy, and inclusion with our students in grades 3–8!

Through personal stories about his life, experiences, and family, David reminded our students of a powerful lesson: Everyone deserves to feel valued, accepted, and included. No one should ever feel like they don’t belong!

But David didn’t just talk about inclusion—he put his words into action! During our 3rd graders’ lunch period, David went above and beyond by visiting the cafeteria and making sure no student was sitting alone. What an amazing example of practicing what you preach!

A HUGE thank you to David Flood for inspiring our students and reminding our entire JHS community that even the smallest acts of kindness can make the biggest difference!

Every Student. Every Day. Everyone Belongs! 💙💛

Club Extravaganza at JHS!

Today, our middle school students had the opportunity to explore all the amazing clubs and activities that John Hill School has to offer! From Drama Club and Yearbook to Students for Change and so many more, there is truly something for everyone at JHS. ❤️🖤

Our clubs give students the chance to discover new interests, build friendships, develop leadership skills, and find their voice outside of the classroom.

At JHS, we believe that education is about more than academics. We want every student to have opportunities to thrive, explore their passions, and become well rounded individuals.

Here’s to a great year of getting involved, trying something new, and finding your place at JHS!

From Boonton High School to John Hill School! ❤️🖤

We were excited to welcome several Boonton High School students from the Gateway Academy to JHS as they shared their experiences with our 8th grade students and talked about their journey through one of BHS’s unique academic programs.

Gateway students have opportunities to take challenging coursework, earn college credits, participate in enrichment and mentoring experiences, explore their interests, and develop skills that prepare them for college and beyond. Most importantly, our JHS students got to hear directly from students who were once in their shoes.

What a great opportunity to connect our schools, inspire our students, and show them what their future can look like! We are so proud of our Bomber students and the way they continue to learn from and support one another.

AVID Signing Night at John Hill School!

Tonight, we celebrated our amazing 7th and 8th grade students as they officially signed on to become part of our AVID elective program!

AVID provides students with the opportunity to build strong learning habits and develop strategies that will help them succeed in middle school, high school, and beyond. Through collaboration, inquiry, organization, and student agency, our AVID students are learning not just what to learn, but how to become great learners.

We are so proud of each and every student who made this commitment to themselves and their future. We can’t wait to see all that you accomplish!

Congratulations to our AVID students! We are excited to watch you learn, grow, lead, and take ownership of your journey.
