***A message from Tim Fischer(Father of level 10 Stella Fischer)

On Sunday, March 1, I will be running the 2026 Tokyo Marathon. This will mark my sixth Abbott World Marathon Majors star, my seventh marathon overall and also will likely be my last. While I earned a lottery spot for this race, I will be fundraising to support two New Jersey families recently struck by personal tragedy.

Justin Sanchez, a vibrant 36-year-old father of four, suffered a sudden seizure in April 2025, leaving him brain injured, partially paralyzed, and in need of daily care. His daughters train alongside my oldest at North Stars Gymnastics Academy in Morris County.

Also, Brandon Beards, another great guy and super-involved father, unexpectedly passed away in December 2025, at just 41. He leaves behind his wife and two school-age children, who were my younger daughters’ classmates at The Preschool Place and Kindergarten in Somerset County.

Every dollar I raise, will be split equally to help both of these families with medical bills, rehabilitation and daily needs, etc. Any donation you could offer can help toward making a real difference in their lightening the financial load and uncertainties right now in their lives.
