Our kids are more anxious than ever. Freewoods Creative Collective provides the space for kids of all interests, abilities and backgrounds to learn Resilience, Empathy, Critical Thinking Skills, Creativity, Leadership Skills, Collaboration, and so much more, through the performing arts.
The arts feeds the growing hunger in our youth for human interaction, time in nature and the space to explore the world in ways that are meaningful and fun to them.
Creativity is a crucial skill all must learn in order to thrive, no matter their areas of interest.
Scientists and engineers can't innovate without the ability to look at problems in different ways than anyone else has before. That's creativity.
Healthcare providers get better outcomes when they are skilled listeners. Theatre's most fundamental lesson is learning how to listen and react genuinely.
Athletes, Lawyers, and Salespeople that can improvise, perform better than those that are stuck in a rigid mindset. Improvisation is how we teach creativity and listening skills.
It's time to break out of the old cliché that there are theatre kids, sports kids and science kids and never the twain shall meet.

The Waitlist has begun for two of our Creative Performance classes in our Fall Schedule. Once 6 children are on the Waitlist, we can open another class same day/time at a second studio space next door in Boonton, NJ. Some classes are Sold Out and others have only a few spots remaining.
Masterclasses for 4-5 students are still available on days and times not on our main schedule above. The Registrant must schedule a complete group.

All children need the arts to thrive, foster creativity and enhance their ability to learn, think critically, develop empathy, build atrong bodies, work with and respect others, and innovate.
