On November 2, 2023, the Special Sevices Department and SEPAG (Special Education Parent Advisory Group) hosted a Family Fun Night at John Hill School for elementary students. Child Study Team members and related service providers created varied activity stations and an art station. Student representatives from the High School Key Club guided younger students in co****le, Connect Four, and other competitive games. Thank you to all of our staff members and high school students for hosting the event and to all of our families and elementary students for joining. Be on the lookout for more SEPAG events in the future!

Boonton Special Services and the Morris/Sussex Transition Partnership held a Regional Transition Fair on January 26, 2023, at Boonton High School. The fair highlighted 40 service providers from state and local agencies that offer services to individuals with disabilities. It has been or passion and desire to bring the most up-to-date and pertinent information to the families in Boonton and in our surrounding communities.
Thank you to all vendors and families for making this an amazing event!

The BHS Counseling Department will be hosting a Financial Aid Information Night on Monday, September 26th at 6:30 PM in the BHS Auditorium.
Financial Aid Expert and HESAA Representative Kimber Decker will be presenting on different ways to fund a college education, including grants, loans, scholarships, and important programs like the FAFSA, HESAA, and NJ STARS. The informational presentation will be followed by a Q and A session, where you can ask specific questions and hear expert advice on the topic. The FAFSA, the federal application for student aid, opens on October 1st, so this is a great opportunity for a head start!
