Walkathon is coming fast! Below are the current standings as of this morning. Total raised: $1,155. There are so many great individual and school incentives to get donations from friends and family! We are hoping those incentives boost students' excitement which in turn will help us in purchasing a book vending machine!

Donations can be made online at:
https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/donation-form/2026-walkathon-4

They can also be turned in by Thursday via cash and/or check!

-Who will get a GBE needoh cube?
-Who's going to be relaxing in a recliner at the movies stuffing their face with popcorn??
-Which classes will get a visit from the Woot Woot Wagon? (imagine loud music, a variety of snacks and drinks on a train of wagons, and other classes hearing the fun and wishing they had won)

It might be too early to tell but those adorable little rocketeers in our younger grades certainly have their fundraising faces on this year!

Walkathon, Trunk or Treat, and reviewing our PTA Bylaws are some of the expected discussions. Hope to see you there!

Our Greenbrier Walkathon is October 15th, and our Rocketeers are ready to FALL INTO READING! 🍂👟

This year, we’re walking for a BIG goal—a book vending machine for Greenbrier Elementary! 📚✨ We want to fill it with books that students can earn for positive behavior, special events, reaching goals, and simply being caught doing something awesome.

And we need YOUR help to make it happen! ❤️

💰 Every donation counts. Whether it’s $5, $10, $20 or more, every dollar helps our students get one step closer to having books at their fingertips.

Have a Greenbrier student? Help them grow their pumpkin patch! 🎃 Each donation can be colored onto their Pumpkin Patch sheet as they work toward their individual fundraising goals.

So ask Grandma, Grandpa, aunts, uncles, neighbors, coworkers, friends… anyone who loves kids and books! 📚❤️

Let’s show our Rocketeers that their community believes in them—and help us reach our $7,000 school-wide goal! 👀🎃

Donations can be made via cash or check as well as online using the link below:

Donate. Walk. Read. Repeat.
🍂 Every step leads to a new story! 📖

🌸 Well… we did it! On Saturday, 1,157 giant, absolutely enormous mums were unloaded, sorted, hauled, distributed, loaded into cars, and finally made their way home ❤️

Seriously…the size of these mums were amazing!! 🌳At some point we stopped calling them mums and started calling them landscaping. 🤣 Thank you Backroads Greenhouse for everything! 😘

A HUGE thank-you to everyone who helped make the day run smoothly. From the people who showed up to unload the trucks, to those who sorted, organized, carried, loaded, directed traffic, answered questions, and somehow kept smiling through it all… YOU ARE THE REAL MVPs! 🏆

And another HUGE thank-you to every family who bought mums and supported Greenbrier Elementary! We appreciate every single order and enjoyed seeing/meeting many of you at pick-up💚

Now please excuse us while we recover from Mumageddon 2026 and begin to prepare for our next fun adventure….The Walkathon!

A bright green slip of paper should have made it home yesterday or will be coming home today. It has the below information regarding mum pick-up tomorrow. It also has our PTA President, Jackie Sullivan’s cell number should you run into any issues on Saturday.

We will have all submitted paper order forms as well as individual lists with any online orders your student may have received. If someone who ordered from your student is picking up their order themselves, just make sure they let us know your child’s name so we can mark it completed on your order form.

Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions and thank you again!
