Here is the latest post I just saw from Sam's family. Please continue to pray for peace for them.

It's breaking my heart to post this. Samuel Swope passed away unexpectedly on May 20th. There will be a celebration of life at Watson-Milton Funeral Home, 426 West Wade Street in Trenton, Florida on June 4th. Visitation at 10:00 am and Service at 11:00. He will be interred at Bushnell National Cemetary with military honors.

Just wanted to let everyone know that we lost another classmate. My sister messaged me earlier that Sam Swope passed away this past weekend. I will update when I have more information. John Ritenour is trying to find out more for us. Please keep Sam's family in your prayers during this time.

Wanted to give a huge shout out to the reunion committee for their hard work. Everyone that comes gets to enjoy an evening of fun and catching up with classmates, and then head home. The committee works for over a year planning, organizing, picking a venue and menu, getting music lined up, decorations purchased and made, flowers bought and arranged, and setting it all up the day of the event, not to mention staying to clean it all up after. Some of us donate the items we purchase. Though we do this so we can all have a great time and make memories to last, it's nice to get some recognition sometimes. Many of us have been doing this from the 5th reunion, some are newer to the committee, but we're all dedicated to making it an enjoyable evening for all. So thank you to Diane Ledden, Lyndell Clipp, Lori Hudlow, Todd Smith, Robin Michael, Mark Hayward, Debbie Bachtell, Tammy Crist, Dickie Harbaugh, Cindy Smith, Kathy Rohrer, and Bert Maas. You all are the best to work with! Can't wait for the 50th!!!

Well, I think I speak for everyone when I say we had a spectacular time on Saturday at our 45th reunion! We missed everyone that couldn't attend, but please be sure to mark your calendars in 5 years for our 50th reunion!!! (we're not really that old, right??)
