JOIN US! BACKPACKING 101 WITH Becca Nenow at Boone Fillery. 🥾FREE ADMISSION on Saturday, July 27th from 5pm - 6:30pm, you’re invited & tell yer friends!

There’s no better way to unplug than to be totally immersed in nature.

Learn the basics of backpacking, including what gear to carry, clothes to wear, and how to plan your own trip. Your guide, Becca Nenow, has been a backpacker since middle school and has hiked thousands of miles, including thru-hikes of the Appalachian Trail and Camino de Santiago. She huas been a backpacking guide for 10+ years.

These skills and knowledge translate to all areas of life and increase our sense of self-reliance. We’ll also have freebies and a giveaway. Bring your curiosity, questions, and any gear you’d like feedback on.

Admission is free, but please let us know if you plan to attend by submitting the RSVP form.

🚗 Parking: Use the Rivers Street Parking Deck, then walk across the pedestrian bridge and through Central Dining Hall to reach Varsity Gym.
