Join us August 27th at 9:00am at the Perry Towncraft Center for Fertilizer & Finance!

With topics like interpreting soil test results, fertilizer budgeting and economic analysis, and maximizing return on fertilizer investments. Participants will leave with the knowledge to make profitable nutrient management decisions on their own operations.

Registration is $60 per participant for all materials and must be paid in advance at the Boone or Dallas County Extension offices.

Join us September 11th for Windbreak School!

Windbreak School and the included lunch is provided at no cost thanks to generous support from Boone and Greene County Soil and Water Conservation Districts.

A half-day, in-field, one-stop program for farmers, landowners, and natural resource professionals.

Learn from key experts including ISU Extension, diagnostic specialists, IDNR foresters, NRCS staff, the Coalition to Support Iowa’s Farmers, and Iowa farmers.

Participants will gain practical knowledge on how to plan, implement, maintain, and renovate resilient windbreaks.
