Congratulations to Dr. Davis on the Respect Your Elder Award, to be received this evening from the Boone Area Chamber of Commerce.
“It’s amazing to see how former students and colleagues of Dr. Davis light up when his name is mentioned,” said David Jackson, President/CEO of the Boone Area Chamber of Commerce. “Not only has he been a thought leader in the banking industry and a trusted economist within our region, but he has also impacted thousands of students during his time as a professor, which may be his greatest accomplishment."
Finance professor to receive Boone Chamber's 'Respect Your Elder' award The Boone Area Chamber of Commerce will honor Dr. Harry Davis, Appalachian State University's NC Bankers' Association Professor, with its Respect Your Elder Award during its 4 Under 40 Awards ceremony on Wednesday, March 26.

The Walker College of Business is hosting Jamie Harris, CFO of RXO, as App State's 64th Boyles Lecturer. His Thursday, April 20, 2PM talk in the Schaefer Center will be about Lessons in Leadership: Baseball to Business. Harris was a member of the Mountaineers' 1984 Southern Conference Championship baseball team and is an App State Trustee. You're invited to the lecture; it's free. Come as you are; no registration needed.
