➡️ Monday, August 24: First day for K through 6th grade, with a 2-hour early dismissal

➡️ Tuesday, August 25: 2-hour early dismissal

➡️ Thursday, August 27: Preschool Pop-In Day

➡️ Friday, August 28: First day of preschool

Meet Taylor Nuehring, our new preschool teacher! 🌟

Taylor recently earned her early childhood education degree from the University of Northern Iowa, adding to the family services degree she earned from UNI in 2017. Her experience includes providing prevention programming in K-12 classrooms throughout Boone and Story counties, running an in-home daycare, and serving as a supervisor and assistant director at Future Bulldogs Childcare.

Taylor and her family have called Boone home for six years. She and her husband have two boys, Will and Ollie, who have both attended United’s 3-year-old preschool. They enjoy exploring new parks, attending baseball games, and going on bike rides.

In her own free time, Taylor enjoys reading, crafting, and crocheting.

We’re happy to have Taylor sharing her experience and love of early childhood education! 😀

We’re welcoming our newest staff members to United as they prepare for a great 2026-27 school year! 🍎

Our new teachers also had the opportunity to connect with fellow educators from across Boone County at the new teacher breakfast hosted by the Boone County Chamber. We appreciate the warm welcome and support for educators who are beginning a new chapter in our school community.

We’re glad to have you at United—and we look forward to a wonderful year together! 🤗
