This week Dr.s Foreman, Stoddard, and Guy attended Sales Educators Academy in Orlando in an effort to stay current on evolving trends in professional selling and sales management - both teaching and practice. Ran into Mickey after a great panel discussion with Disney sales execs at the Disney offices in Celebration!

Congratulations to graduating seniors Mary Crowe and Mason Brenes who are are the newest hires for Appalachian State Professional Selling Program partner Signature Consultants. Mary is a Marketing major with a concentration in Professional Selling, and Mason is a Risk Management and Insurance major who connected with Signature Consultants at the Sales Program's Speed Selling event.

Fantastic visit from Tom Wirtz, Director of Talent Acquisition for Herc Rentals, who presented career opportunities and interviewed for the Herc Sales Scholarship. This summer Ariel Pope, Grant Patterson, and Tucker Beckham will begin full-time work with Herc, joining Appalachian sales alums Bailey Wall and Connor Bryant already on the Herc team. Beau Myers will be doing a summer internship with Herc, leading to full-time employment after Fall semester.
