A big thank you to First United Methodist Church of Dothan families for coming to serve in our gardens. Each family rocked it out with loading all the brush, clearing the trails and filling all of the raised garden beds.

🌱✨ Big things are growing at Parkway!

While great things are happening inside our building, we’re also hard at work outside as we begin restoring our garden and nature trail space for an exciting transformation.

Thanks to the generous support of the Watauga Education Foundation (and those who created it before us), this area will soon again become an engaging outdoor learning space for our students, staff, and community. We can’t wait to share more as the project continues to take shape!

You may even have an opportunity to be part of the journey. As the project progresses, we may be looking for volunteers to help bring this vision to life. Stay tuned for more updatesβ€”we can’t wait to grow together! πŸ’™πŸŒΏ

We have approximately 30 yearbooks still available for purchase and would love to get them into the hands of our Parkway families.

Filled with memories, milestones, and moments from throughout the school year, they are a wonderful way to remember the 2025-2026 school year for years to come.

Yearbooks are $45 for non-staff purchases and are available on a first come, first served basis.

If you would like to reserve a copy, please call the school and speak with Ms. Hernandez or email her to lock one in before they're gone!

During Restaurant Week, participating restaurants will donate 3% of sales to Watauga Education Foundation (WEF), the nonprofit partner of Watauga County Schools. These funds directly support classroom projects, teacher grants, scholarships, and other needs for Watauga County public school students and staffβ€”areas where state and local budgets fall short.

On Saturday, May 23, make it a πŸ” meal-and-movie πŸŽ₯ day and enjoy a free showing of Bad Guys 2 at the Appalachian Theatre at 4:00PM.
