Congratulations to our Fall 2025 graduates!

Mad Pilione’s time at App State has been defined by hard work and remarkable growth, from pioneering new academic paths to presenting at academic conferences to completing an internship with the National Institutes of Health. Pilione, of Raleigh, will graduate tomorrow with a bachelor's degree in religious studies with a concentration in public health and a minor in philosophy. 🎓

"Mad has demonstrated the most growth as an intellectual that I have seen in my 20 years at App. I anticipate reading her scholarly articles some day," shared a faculty member in App State Philosophy & Religion.

Check out this CFP (Call for Papers) for a joint meeting of the North and South Carolina Philosophical Societies.

There is an opportunity for undergraduate students to submit papers for consideration, which, if accepted, would be showcased in a poster session (see highlighted portions of the announcement).
