Meet your 2026/2027 PTO Board!

Hello! My name is Megean Twitchell and this year I am serving as co-treasurer again. My daughter Aryah is a 2nd grader here at VFE, and my son Landon (a former Falcon) is in 11th grade. When I’m not volunteering at VFE, I’m working as a tax accountant for a telecommunications company from home. I like being a part of the PTO so that I can feel connected to my daughter’s school and help out with activities. I will be doing the popcorn Fridays each month again this year, which is super fun because the kids get so excited! For fun we like to watch movies, ride quads and motorcycles, play putt-putt golf, race go-karts, go camping and spend time outdoors. Looking forward to another great school year! Go Falcons!

Meet your 2026/2027 PTO Board!

Hi VFE families!
Monica Nation here. This will be my third year serving as co-treasurer on the PTO board. I love our school, community and kiddos so very much and am looking forward to another awesome year!

My husband, Brett and I share two amazing daughters; Kennedy (12), a former falcon, and Brynn (8) a soon to be 3rd grader! Our family loves to travel and spend time outdoors. We are just finishing up a two week road trip in our camper, exploring the West Coast. This year we brought along our new puppy, Harvey!

Outside of the PTO, I work as a Mortgage Loan officer and a strength coach at Vie Athletics; both of which I am very passionate about!

Meet VFE’s 2026/2027 PTO Board!

Hello, my name is Paula Hemminger and I am excited to serve this year as our PTO Secretary and Art Night planner!

We have 3 kids- Evan (11th grade at BLHS), Kellen (4th grade) and Lydia (2nd grade) both at VFE. I am also starting my 3rd year working on staff here as the school nurse.

For fun I love spending time in the beautiful outdoors backpacking, skiing and running. I also love reading and doing anything artsy and creative.

I have been so grateful to be a part of our PTO because I value being part of a team that supports our school and also connects and build our community. I love that there are many ways to get involved through so many different programs and events . There is something for everyone and every member makes us better! 💙

Meet VFE's 2026-2027 PTO Board!

Hi, my name is Demetria Orthouse, and I'm excited to be serving as your VFE PTO Vice President this year — and I'm also taking on the role of Book Fair Chair!

My son Cameron is a 3rd grader here at VFE, and my daughter Aaliyah is a 7th grader at Mountainview (plus we have 3 grown kiddos keeping us on our toes!)

By day, I work full-time in Human Resources in higher education, and being a full-time working parent, I love finding ways to stay connected to my kids' school life — PTO is one of my favorite ways to do that, which is exactly why Book Fair has always had my heart, and I couldn't be more excited to chair it this year!

Outside of work and PTO, you can find me spending time with family and friends, at the movies, rollerblading, traveling, catching a comedy show, volunteering, and enjoying an occasional Moms' Night Out.

Fun fact: lasagna is still my #1 favorite food (some things never change!) So excited for another great year with the VFE community!

Meet VFE’s 2026–2027 PTO Board!

Hi, VFE families! My name is Karli Henry, and I’m honored to be serving as your VFE PTO President this year!

I’m a proud mom of two boys—Logan, who is in 5th grade, and Owen, who is in 2nd grade this year! 💙

When I’m not working in my full-time sales role in the pet industry, you can probably find me at school! I love being involved at VFE in any way I can—from family events and volunteering in the classroom to helping wherever I’m needed. Being part of our school community is something I truly enjoy!

Outside of school, I love hiking, working out, cheering on my boys at their sporting events (GO Jr. Panther Football and SBL Warriors Lacrosse!), and spending time with family and friends.

If you see me around school, there’s a good chance I’ll have a Starbucks in my hand! ☕️ I love my coffee, and my favorite order is a Pumpkin Spice Americano

I’m so excited for the 2026–2027 school year and can’t wait to make it a fun, memorable, and amazing year for our VFE community! 💙

We want to give a huge thank you to our art docents who have worked hard all year creating the beautiful art on display with our students, Mr. Payne and the VFE Modern Band,choir, The Fennel Creek Falcon Band, our PTO volunteers for their organization and set up of the evening, and our BLHS and SHS volunteers!
